Perkins Engines is pleased to confirm the improvement of its Gen Set Power
line-up by announcing the introduction and availability of the 2300 Series
of engines with effect from the 12th September 2002. This new range of 14 litre
engines provides clean & efficient power for gensets with outputs
of between 300 and 450 kVA, replacing the existing 2000 Series
family and is available for immediate order with a target
lead-time of < 3 weeks. The 2300 Series range of turbocharged and
air-to-air charge cooled, electronically controlled gen-set engines are 1/2 TA Luft (1986), EPA Tier 2 and EU Stage 2 emissions legislation capable.
The market is changing rapidly and Perkins’ response to these changes
is to provide a new range of platforms that incorporate increased levels
of established technologies aimed at increasing customer satisfaction.
Designed specifically for
the power generation market, the Perkins 2800 Series is a 6 cylinder
in-line engines of 15.8 and 18.1 litres capacity on a common core.
